Palo Seco is the closest beach to the north of Manuel Antonio which is accessible by car. It is located midway between Manuel Antonio and Jaco, approximately 30 minutes from each. Characteristically, Palo Seco is a 7-km long, quiet beach with little tourist activity, backed by an estuary system rife with local wildlife (ie monkeys, birds, iguanas, etc.).
